Crafted for Lexus: Aether leather handbag
It took many years for Lexus to perfect the art of making its finest L-aniline leather durable enough for a vehicle interior yet supple enough to feel soft and luxurious to the touch. These seemingly conflicting characteristics inspired Japanese leather goods brand Aether to adopt the material in a sophisticated new handbag.
It was designed by Aether’s all-female team and is exclusively produced by skilled Japanese artisans with more than 50 years of leatherworking experience. Every stitch and every panel is therefore optimised to match the leather’s character and to ensure maximum comfort, whether worn over the shoulder or held in your hand. Meanwhile, the delicate shape is carefully proportioned to anticipate a variety of formal and casual scenarios.
The leather handbag is available in two colours: smoky white L-aniline leather with a luxurious burgundy interior, and dark grey L-aniline leather with a contrasting olive green interior. A small leather badge inscribed with the Crafted for Lexus and Aether legends provides a further distinguishing mark.
