Crafted for Lexus: SyuRo’s key tray
Designed and commissioned by Masuko Unayama for her SyuRo lifestyle and household goods store in Tokyo, this elegant key tray is described as offering “a combination of craftsmanship and contemporary vision.”
The product was brought to life by Soutatsu Kamikawa of Nisshin Kikinzoku, a company that continues the craftsmanship associated with traditional Tokyo silverware. The methodical hammer technique over specially shaped bucks leaves faint indentations, which adds to the tray’s handmade aesthetic.
Please note that Lexus does not recommend leaving any keys near the front door or in a visible position. Inserting your vehicle’s key fob in a faraday pouch is also advisable in order to block any tampering with its wireless signal.
