This Lexus tyre pressure and size guide answers an important factor that has a direct bearing on everything from safety and ride comfort to fuel economy and responsiveness. Different wheel and tyre combinations require different tyre pressures, and these can sometimes alter between the front and rear of the vehicle.
As the only direct connection to the road surface, the tyres of our cars deserve special attention. They should be in damage-free condition and wearing evenly across the breadth of the tyre and around the entire circumference, to a minimum legal tread depth of 1.6 millimetres.
Specific tyre sizes and inflation values are not mandated by law but set by each vehicle manufacturer. The tyre sizes specified from the factory and the pressures that Lexus recommends to inflate them will offer the best possible balance in overall performance in normal road conditions with a modest load on board. You will find this information for all current generation models in the table below.

What if my Lexus is not listed here?
If you have a previous generation model, the recommended size and Lexus tyre pressure values for your vehicle will either be listed on the door jamb around the B-pillar (see example below), on the inside of the glove box, or in the owner’s manual.
Please note that if your vehicle is fully laden or will be used for sustained high-speed driving, the Lexus tyre pressure values will need to be increased.
Specific information on this is also shown in the same locations listed above.

Hi. Interesting page. Bought bk17 vuh this uear & was absolutely thrilled with everything. Averaging 66 plus mpg regularly. Took it for a Lexus 30 000 service & they changed 3 of the tyres. I agree that it came with different tyres to those on the doorpost, bur mpg now struggling to make 62. Out of pocket, angry & confused. Please could you advise correct tyres & psi’s . Service cost nearly £1000 & car £17000, all spent to save fuel in current climate!

Hi, I have a Lexus is300h 2019, unfortunately my wife has a back problem and finds the ride in the car uncomfortable with they tyres inflated to 35psi. As it is only her and I (combined weight 22 stone) that travel in the car is it safe to reduce the tyre pressure to 28psi? I ask because I have done this and she finds the ride much better. If I can do this it would be great because I do not want to get rid of this lovely car!
Thanks Gerry,
