The Lexus hybrid range in detail

There are eight hybrids in the Lexus UK line-up. Here you will find information concerning each one that may help you to determine if there is one that is right for you.

CT 200h


What is it?

The CT 200h is our smallest car, a luxury hatchback.

How much does it cost and how is the grade line-up structured?

The CT 200h starts at £21,245*. There are seven grades to choose from – S, SE, Advance, Luxury, Sport, F Sport and Premier.

Standard equipment across the range includes all-round electric windows, electrically-operated, heated and folding door mirrors, Bluetooth, a 7-inch Lexus Media Display screen, rain sensing wipers and push button start.

F Sport models benefit from sports suspension, a unique mesh grille, 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels and a large rear spoiler. F Sport models are available with Dark Rose leather seats.

What are the performance and economy figures?

Total power output is 134bhp and the 0-62mph sprint time is 10.3 seconds. Top speed is 112mph and CO2 emissions range from 82g/km to 94g/km. Sub-100g/km CO2 emissions mean that all grades of CT 200h are exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax).

Combined cycle fuel economy varies between grades. S models return up to 78.5mpg, whilst all other grades return 68.9mpg unless specified with 16-inch alloy wheels – a no-cost option – which brings the figure to 74.3mpg.

IS 300h

What is it?

The IS 300h is our compact executive saloon.

How much does it cost and how is the grade line-up structured?

The IS 300h starts at £28,995*. There are seven grades to choose from – SE, Executive Edition, Sport, Luxury, Advance, F Sport and Premier.

Standard equipment across the range includes all-round electric windows, electrically adjustable, heated and folding door mirrors, Bluetooth, cruise control, touch-sensitive temperature controls and a 7-inch Lexus Media Display screen.

F Sport models feature digital instrumentation inspired by the Lexus LFA supercar, 18-inch machined alloy wheels, a mesh front grille and sports suspension. Buyers can also specify Dark Rose leather seats.

The grades are priced as follows:

What are the performance and economy figures?

Total power output is 220bhp and the 0-62mph sprint time is 8.3 seconds. Top speed is 125mph and CO2 emissions range from 99g/km to 109g/km.

Combined cycle fuel economy varies between grades because of the increasing diameter of the alloy wheels fitted to models in the range. SE models return up to 65.7mpg and are exempt from Vehicle Excise Duty. Executive Edition, Luxury and Advance grade models return up to 64.2mpg. F Sport and Premier models return 60.1mpg.

NX 300h

What is it?

The NX 300h is our mid-sized SUV.

How much does it cost and how is the grade line-up structured?

The NX 300h starts at £29,995*. There are five grades to choose from – S, SE, Luxury, F Sport and Premier. ‘S’ grade cars are available exclusively in two-wheel drive.

Standard equipment includes all-round electric windows, electrically-operated, heated and power folding door mirrors, DAB radio, an 8-inch Lexus Media Display, dual-zone climate control and Drive Mode Select (Eco, Normal and Sport).

F Sport models benefit from similar visual and dynamic tweaks as the CT 200h and IS 300h F Sport models with a mesh front grille, two-tone alloy wheels and sports suspension.

The grades are priced as follows:

  • S (two-wheel drive only) – £29,995
  • SE – £31,995
  • Luxury – £35,245
  • F Sport – £37,495
  • Premier – £42,995

Total power output is 195bhp and the 0-62mph sprint time is 9.2 seconds. Top speed is 112mph and CO2 emissions range from 116g/km to 121g/km.

Combined cycle economy figures on grades of NX do not vary as much as on other Lexus hybrid models. This is because the size of the alloy wheels fitted to all grades is consistent, save for entry level S grade models. S grade models return up to 56.5mpg whilst all other grades return up to 54.3mpg.

GS 300h

What is it?

The GS 300h is our executive saloon.

The model is available only as a hybrid in a choice of ‘300h’ and ‘450h’ iterations; the latter is, as the name suggests, more powerful. We will treat the two separately in this post.

How much does it cost and how is the grade line-up structured?

The GS 300h starts at £33,495*. There are four grades to choose from – Executive Edition, Luxury, F Sport and Premier.

Standard equipment includes a 12-speaker audio system with DVD player, DAB radio and Bluetooth, electrically adjustable front seats and lumbar support, cruise control, LED ambient cabin lighting, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors and a reverse camera.

F Sport models are subtlety tweaked visually with 19-inch titanium-coloured alloy wheels and a honeycomb front grille. Under the skin there are more powerful brakes and sports suspension.

The grades are priced as follows:

  • Executive Edition – £33,495
  • Luxury – £36,495
  • F Sport – £40,995
  • Premier – £43,245

Combined cycle economy figures are as follows. The GS 300h SE returns up to 60.lmpg, while Luxury and Premier models return up to 57.6mpg. F Sport models return up to 56.5mpg.

GS 450h

What is it?

The GS 450h is the higher performance version of our large executive saloon, the GS.

How much does it cost and how is the grade line-up structured?

The GS 450h starts at £49,995*. There are two grades to choose from – F Sport and Premier.

Standard equipment includes a full leather interior with heated, ventilated and electrically adjustable memory front seats, Lexus Premium Navigation with a 12.3-inch colour screen and remote touch interface, a 12-speaker audio system with DVD player, DAB radio and Bluetooth, and a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA).

F Sport models are equipped with Lexus Dynamic Handling which monitors driver steering inputs and adjusts the position and rotation rate of the front and rear wheels accordingly.

  • F Sport – £49,995
  • Premier – £50,995

Lexus GS 450h
What are the performance and economy figures?

Total power output is 341bhp and the 0-62mph sprint takes 5.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph and CO2 emissions are consistent across the range, at 141g/km.

Luxury and Premier grades return up to 46.3mpg on the combined cycle, while F Sport models return up to 45.6mpg.

RC 300h

The RC 300h starts from £34,995*. There are three grades to choose from – Luxury, F Sport and Premier.

Standard equipment includes parking assist, cruise control, daytime running lights and smooth leather upholstery with 8-way electrically adjustable seats.

The RX 450h starts at £46,995*. There are four grades to choose from – SE, Luxury, F Sport and Premier.

Standard equipment includes a full leather interior with eight-way electrically adjustable and heated front seats, privacy glass, cruise control, electrically-operated tilt and telescopic steering wheel with memory, Bluetooth and an auto-dimming rear view mirror with integral rear view monitor.

F Sport models are fitted with 19-inch titanium-coloured alloy wheels and feature a honeycomb front grille.

The LS 600h L is priced at £99,995*. There is only one grade to choose from, Premier.

Standard equipment includes an all-wheel drive system, ‘Climate Concierge’ cabin temperature monitor, Shiatsu massaging rear seats, centre console mounted entertainment system with Blu-Ray disc player and an advanced Pre-crash Safety System.
