The famous Jarama race track, north of Madrid, Spain, was the setting for the press launch of the new Lexus GS F, and it was an ideal venue to put our new performance saloon through its paces.
The 2.3-mile track has a perfect mix of tight and open corners, changes in elevation, and has a long straight too. Drivers therefore had the opportunity to explore the capabilities of the GS F, including its torque vectoring differential, various driving modes and, of course, listen to that wonderful naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine.
In this Lexus GS F video, pro driver Michael Bentwood has two laps around Jarama and delivers a running commentary on what the GS F is doing, and how the car’s character and feel changes as he puts it through the different settings. Throughout the video you can hear the magnificent roar of that high-revving V8.
NB: In Michael’s commentary you can hear him talking to ‘Scott’. The Scott in question is Scott Brownlee, General Manager, PR & Social for Lexus in the UK. You can follow him on Twitter at @LexusPR.
