There’s 2,574bhp and £1m worth of metal on display in this sweaty palm inducing film of five high performance Lexus models dancing and drifting their way around Japan’s famous Fuji speedway in perfect unison.
Leading the pack is the one and only LFA, a car that warrants the ‘supercar’ moniker more than most thanks to its astonishing 4.8-litre 552bhp V10 powerplant that revs faster than an analogue tachometer is physically capable of measuring. The LFA blasts from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and onto a top speed of 202mph.
A pair of RC F GT3 race cars are the LFA’s wingmen. Each one uses a track-tuned version of the 5.0-litre V8 found in the standard RC F road car, which has been tuned to deliver 540bhp.
Lexus International secured a win with the RC F GT3 during Japan’s Super GT series last April at the Okayama International Circuit in Japan. Daisuke Ito and Andrea Caldarelli were behind the wheel.
Two F Sport White RC F road cars – fitted with Lexus’ torque vectoring differential – complete the Dance of F line-up. Each one boasts a mighty 471bhp and a healthy 530Nm of torque. 0-62mph is dispatched in 4.5 seconds and top speed is electronically limited to 168mph.
