What car will Lexus showcase?
A highlight of our participation in the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026 will be the showcase of the Lexus LFA Concept. The model follows a competition-honed bloodline established by past icons such as the Toyota 2000GT and original Lexus LFA. It reflects our belief that the skills of sports car craftsmanship must be nurtured and passed on to future generations. This approach is inspired by the principle of Shikinen Sengu, an ancient Japanese ritual in which a Shinto shrine is dismantled and rebuilt once in every generation to preserve and enhance the craftsmanship skills used in its creation.
As such, the Lexus LFA Concept shares common technologies and aspirations with the new Gazoo Racing developed GR GT road-legal race car and full-blooded GR GT3 race car. It blends advanced performance with emotional appeal to invoke the spirit of the original LFA supercar.
