Lexus cars are engineered to deliver hundreds of thousands of miles of service, witnessing occupants climbing in and out and sitting in its luxurious interior thousands of times in its lifespan. That’s why we’re committed to using the best materials which still feel special even after many years of use.
We collaborated with Guardian Labs on a series of digital and print features which focus on amazing craftsmanship.
As part of this, we commissioned award-winning leatherworker, Úna Burke, to design a high-fashion leather dress made from luxurious Lexus seat leather.
Speaking about the project, Úna said: “Lexus commissioned me to create a piece that was really unique from the leather they use in their CT car.”
“My first point of contact for every project is always my leather and my tools. Lexus leather is quite a bit softer than other leathers that I’ve worked with… worn on the body, it was more flexible”.

Can you please confirm that the model year 2023 lexus UX F Sport comes with Tamara (man made) leather. Does this change if you get the premium plus pack with larger 12 inch screen?
