Setting your perfect driving position
Adjusting your seat
Before making any adjustments in the car, start the engine or press the start button once to enter Accessory mode.
Seat adjusters located on the side of the seat base are intuitive and easy to use without looking at them. The horizontal switch moves the seat base in four ways – forwards and backwards to alter your legroom and up and down to adjust your headroom. The upright switch alters the inclination of the seatback, and (where fitted) a separate switch adjusts the lumbar support.
Seat position memory (where fitted) allows you to save the settings for up to three different drivers. Memorise your settings by pressing ‘Set’ and the desired memory number until a sound is heard.
When you next get into the car, press the number to have your seat automatically reposition. On some models, seat position memory can also be linked to specific vehicle keys for added convenience.
Adjusting the steering wheel
Setting your steering wheel in the correct position enables you to have a good view of the instrument panel and ensure that your arm position is comfortable.
The adjustment switch is located on the side of the steering cowl and moves the wheel in four directions – up and down, and towards or away from the driver.
Adjusting the door mirrors
Adjust the door mirrors or digital side-view monitors using a switch on the driver’s armrest. Select which side you want to adjust by pressing ‘L’ for left or ‘R’ for right. Use the four-way directional pad to adjust the mirror or monitor until it’s set just right for you.
The switch marked ‘AUTO’ controls the folding function of the door mirrors. When set to ‘AUTO’, the mirrors will automatically fold when the car is locked and unfold when it is opened.

In other words, what is the default position when one gets into the car, and no memory button is pressed?

Hi Tuan, thanks for getting in touch.
We’d need to check the specifics of your vehicle. If it is equipped with this function, details of how to operate can be found in the owner’s manual here: https://www.lexus.co.uk/customer/manuals
