Hampton Court Palace says hello to the Lexus NX

RX-RHS-Flower-Show-2

Few new cars have turned heads this year quite like the Lexus NX. The model breaks new ground in design terms with a range of bold but harmonious styling cues such as the large ‘spindle’ grille, sculpted flanks and upswept rear windows. Now, you can get a closer look at the car at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, which takes place this week until July 13.

The model is on display on stand E165 beside the Quiet Mark treehouse and in a garden created by John Lewis. Quiet Mark is an international seal of approval from the UK’s Noise Abatement Society, which encourages the design of quieter, high-performance technology. The NX fufills this brief because it will be available with a full hybrid powertrain when it goes on sale in the UK in October. The system enables the car to run entirely on electric at low speeds, for silent running.

Lexus is sponsoring this year’s RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, which explores different aspects of gardening and garden design in three zones, themed Grow, Escape and Inspire. The NX is included in the Inspire zone, showcasing the latest Lexus advances in contemporary design and technology.

There’s plenty for show visitors to enjoy at Hampton Court, including the opportunity to learn gardening skills from expert demonstrations. There’s also a wealth of family entertainment and attractions, and naturally, you can stock-up on plants!
