What is Lexus bringing to the 2018 Geneva Motor Show?

The big news from Lexus at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show is the world premiere of the new UX urban compact crossover, the first official image of which can be seen above. A short video clip can also be viewed below.

These first visuals reveal the UX’s bold and stylish SUV-inspired design, which combines powerful bodywork with a condensed look. Its crossover credentials are signalled by muscular haunches and a high beltline, but under the skin an all-new platform gives the UX exceptional body rigidity and a low centre of gravity to deliver the agile handling of a hatchback.

The scene inside the cabin presents a highly focused driver’s cockpit, a wide and inviting passenger space and a commanding view of the road. With its brave design, superior craftsmanship and imaginative technology features, the UX will offer strong appeal as a gateway model to the Lexus luxury brand in a dynamic and growing part of the market.

Lexus will also host the European premiere of the RX L, a new version of our best-selling RX crossover that features three rows of seats. This new model provides comfortable accommodation for up to seven people, with flexible seating arrangements that also allow for excellent load-carrying flexibility. The RX L’s versatile interior has been achieved with a 110mm extension of the RX’s overall length, while maintaining a stylish, coupe-like profile.

In addition, the Lexus LF-1 Limitless concept, first revealed at the Detroit motor show in early January, will be making its European debut.

Other highlights at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show will include the new special edition RC F coupe created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Lexus F performance designation.

Pascal Ruch, the new Head of Lexus Europe, will lead the Lexus press conference. It is scheduled for 09:00am (GMT) on 6 March on the Lexus stand in Hall 4 of the Palexpo exhibition centre. The event will be available to view via Livestream by clicking this link.

  1. The Lexus Jeeps are fantastic. My brother bought a new hybrid one 10 years ago, and it still looks like an awesome jeep, and drives like a dream.
