  1. I am struggling with the awful Lexus website. I can’t configure a LBX. I just get a white screen.
Then when I tried to send a message to Lexus that wouldn’t work either.

Not a great advert for a company that prides itself on quality.
Tell me why I should waste my time if this is the best you can do.

    1. Hello Johnathan, thanks for getting in touch.

We are sorry to hear that you have been having trouble using the website to configure an LBX.
May we suggest using Google Chrome or Edge as the browser, we find these work best.
Once again we do apologise for your experience with the site and hope you find the vehicle that suits.

      Thanks,

      Lexus UK

  2. Hello
This is the first time that I have bought a Lexus, previously buying Range Rover and Mercedes in the past 20 years.
I bought my car on the 16th April from Lexus Leicester. Customer service from the dealership on purchase and subsequent contact has been excellent, but unfortunately, right from start, the sales rep was unable to connect my iPhone to the Lexus multi media system, despite trying many times.
He has Emailed the relevant department at Lexus UK many times, to inform them of this problem, stating that most probably, they would get back to me in about 3 days, but it is now 5 weeks since picking up my car, with no resolve of this matter and contact from Lexus what so ever.
Lexus after sales service is supposed to be excellent. What has happened??

    1. Hi Stephen, thanks for getting in touch.

We can see a Customer Relations case has been since replied to and the matter escalated accordingly.
Please accept our apologies for this issue as the Centre and the internal team look to find a resolution.

      Thanks,

      Lexus UK

  3. Hello.
I became the buyer of a Lexus IS300h but without any service history. Is there a chance to check the car’s service history?
    Thank you

    1. Hello Emil, thank you for getting in touch.

Congratulations on the IS300h. Lexus Centre based service history can be viewed using the My Lexus account.
This is free to sign up to and, with the logbook, you can add and verify the car on the account giving an incite to the cars Lexus service history.
Please find attached a link to get started:
https://www.lexus.co.uk/# (go to My Lexus, upper right corner of the screen)

      Thanks,

  4. Second and last Lexus.

Don’t get me wrong, the dealership were excellent when selling the car (Motability) and the IX is an excellent car. However just been contacted by my local dealership after car going in due to lack of air-conditioning. There is a hole in the Aircon compressor caused by a stone getting through the LARGE gap in the grille right in front of the compressor. Apparently not a design issue so not covered by warranty and Motability won’t cover it either.

I have had dozens of cars with Air conditioning in the past but never have I had an issue like this where a grille has gaps big enough to let large stones through particularly where there are sensitive parts behind.

Surely there is some comeback with this?

    1. Hello,
      Thanks for your comment.
As we have also advised to you on social media, as this is foreign object damage, we will not be able to support in the cost of repairs.
We apologise for any frustration this causes.
      Thanks.

  6. Dear Sirs,
I purchased my Lexus UX250h from Lexus/Woodford in March 2023. Reg EP19 NUY. In March 2024 the One show (Watchdog) highlighted that there was an increase of thefts of pre 2021 Lexus and Toyota models. The response from Lexus/Toyota was that an enhanced security hardware system was introduced in October 2021 on the latest models targeted by criminals, which has resulted in a significant drop in thefts of those models. For older models they endeavour to create solutions that can offer enhanced protection. They say newly developed hardware will very soon be available, and that customers should contact their dealer where they purchased the car, to arrange a free of charge fitment procedure.
I emailed Lexus/Woodford in March and have sent further reminders since. I am told that Lexus U.K. are yet to respond.
I have been very happy with my Lexus models and service, and am surprised at this lack of response. I would be grateful for your advice. Yours faithfully. John Riches.

    1. Hello John, thank you for getting in touch.

It is nice to know you are happy with your Lexus UX.
There is no information available on the security enhancement just yet.
As you have done,we are asking people to get in touch with their Lexus Centre so that they can be notified by them when this security enhancement is available.

      Thanks,

      Lexus UK

  7. I have a Lexus CT200h sport and my insurer says they are not going to reinsure me due to an increased number of thefts of these vehicles. I approached my local dealer (lincoln) and was told to use a insurance comparison website, which I have to say I found insulting. I also spoke to a helpful member of staff at the Newcastle dealership who wasn’t aware of any issues. What is happening? I know this has come up with other lexus owners.

    1. Hello Mark, thank you for getting in touch.

We are sorry to hear your current provider does not wish to renew your policy. Insurance companies make their own decisions on what vehicles they would like to provide quotes or cover for, this changes over time as the landscape of cars owned and in use occurs.
May we suggest considering to contact Lexus Motor Insurance for a quote, you can use the website: https://www.lexus.co.uk/insurance/car-insurance
      Or call them on: 0330 3335 575.

      Thanks,

      Lexus UK

  8. Having just had my lexus rcf serviced I have to say I’m very disappointed and frustrated by the service they provided. After dropping my car off, they informed me it’ll take several hours. Couple of hours later they called me informing me that the car needed front pads and disks, also front tyres. All basic service items. They then informed me they had none of this in stock at all and I would have to come back another day. Also has a recall on the fuel pump, surprisingly didn’t have this in stock either, lexus knowing the fuel pump needed to be done yet they didnt bother to order this in. It’s over a 2 hour round trip for me. So now I have to book a day of work, and pay lexus for a curtsey car. Surly the main deailer should have basic service parts on the shelf for a car they sell. Or have the ability to order the parts in the same day like every other dealership. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I expect more from one of the biggest dealerships in the uk

    1. Hello Harry,
Thanks for your comment. We can only apologise for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused.
Please be assured that we will pass these feedback onto our Aftersales Team.
However, if you wish to escalate this complaint further, you can do so by emailing cr@lexus.co.uk
      Thanks.

  9. Hi,

My Vehicle was left at your Hainault Branch for a minor repair over two weeks ago :During this time I’ve not had an email or call to advised of the progress ( or lack thereof) .So due to the information available on your website which indicates a closing time of 13:30 , I decided to try and collect the vehicle today (08.06.2024)

Therefore I tried calling from 12:18 until 12:44 in which no one answered the call, even though I was at position #1 in the queue for the entire length . Frustrated I disconnected that call and immediately rang the number again in which it was diverted to the Toyota department of the Woodford branch.

I’m disappointed that I wasn’t able to collect my vehicle ( which was needed for this weekend ).However I do hope this closing time advertised online can be adhered to or adjusted to reflect the service quality that Lexus is known for.

It would be kind to inform your valuable Customers of your adjusted closing time for Saturdays; if that’s the case so we can be properly informed

    Kind regards ,
    Michael Brown

    1. Hi Michael, thanks for your comment.

We’re sorry to hear this. If you are happy for us to use the email address you have listed here, we will use it to send an update request over to the team at Hainault.

      Thanks,

      Lexus UK

  10. I ordered a new NX , 2025 model year, and it is at the dealer but I cannot collect it because it has not been registered. The dealer has been trying to get this done for the past 2.5 weeks and is “waiting for Lexus”. It is very frustrating. What is preventing the car from being registered and when can I expect to collect my new car ?

    1. Hello Ian,
We are very sorry to hear about this.
Please may you send an email to our Customer Relations team so this can be investigated further.
You can email them on on cr@lexus.co.uk.
      Thank you.
