The grass is greener with Lexus and the Lawn Tennis Association

Lexus has agreed an extension to its existing, multi-year partnership with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). This new arrangement will see Lexus become the title partner of grass court events hosted by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and Women’s Tennis Assocation (WTA) at the Nottingham Tennis Centre and International Lawn Tennis Centre in Eastbourne. Lexus will also have naming rights for all LTA grass court summer events at The Queen’s Club – the exception to that being those within the HSBC Championships, because Lexus is already a premium event partner.

British tennis has made significant advances in recent years, with more professional tournaments being arranged to support an 87% increase in the number of British players. Since the inauguration of the partnership in 2023, sponsorship from Lexus has already allowed the LTA to invest in staging higher level tournaments, which in turn yield greater ranking points for players. In addition, the newly upgraded facilities at the National Tennis Centre in south-west London have provided improved training conditions for young British players, including those on the Pro Scholarship Programme presented by Lexus.

Commenting on this new arrangement, LTA director Chris Pollard said: “We’re very pleased to be extending our partnership with Lexus, which has demonstrated its significant commitment to tennis over recent years with support for British events and our elite teams. This partnership will help support our popular events at Nottingham and Eastbourne, and our use of Lexus hybrid and electric vehicles as official transport mean that our events will be more sustainable and environmentally friendly. We look forward to the road ahead in this extended Lexus partnership.”

Global tennis: Lexus enters its third season as partner of the 2025 ATP Tour
