You’ve seen the adverts, the countdown to Christmas has begun. Lexus joined in the festive preparations from 19-23 November by returning as a headline sponsor for the Ideal Home Show at Christmas, held in London’s Earl’s Court.
On a sub-zero stand next to the show’s ice skating rink stood the Lexus NX 300h, Is 300h, CT 200h and RX 450h, all of which attracted visitors in their thousands. There was also a chance for visitors to use Oculus Rift to take an augmented reality test drive of NX on the stand.
Another Lexus highlight was a special wishing tree. Visitors were encouraged to make a donation to The Salvation Army in exchange for a Christmas wish, which could then be hung on an attractive, illuminated tree. Across the five-day event, 711 wishes were made. Saturday saw the largest number cast in a single day, at 240.
The activity of Lexus at the Ideal Home Show at Christmas wasn’t confined to the stand, however, as we also sponsored the event’s fashion show. Models strutted their stuff on a gloss white catwalk, flanked by a white NX 300h F Sport, capturing the Amazing in Motion ethos of Lexus and our design-focused vision.
