Lexus IS 300h finance and running costs

Lexus IS 300h has been described by the motoring press as “Silent, sporty, stylish” and “The perfect car.” Now retail buyers can drive one for as little as £329 p/m* with a £7,563.26 deposit.

Retail buyers looking to make the £329 p/m payments could put down a deposit of £7,563.26 on a Lexus IS 300h SE Navigation, and then make 41 monthly payments of £329 p/m, and take advantage of a low APR of 5.9%. For a limited time, a £1,000 deposit contribution is being offered on the model too.

High level of equipment

The SE Navigation model is loaded with the very latest in-car technology and luxury equipment, and boasts smart entry and start, dual zone climate control, cruise control, a 7-inch touchscreen navigation system, and touch-sensitive electrostatic temperature controls. Externally, the car sports 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, and single xenon headlights.

Low running costs

IS 300h further benefits from running costs that are among the best in the class; Co2 emissions for SE Navigation models of 99g/km make the model exempt from vehicle tax, and combined mpg figures of 65.7 mpg mean big savings at the pumps, and a theoretical tank rank of 950 miles.

  1. I am a Prius owner considering the possibility of up scaling to a NX300h but I have to say your finance offers are not very competitive at all.

It is quite easy to put down a deposit and get a personal loan from a bank for the remainder and still better the lexus finance deals.

What this means plain and simple, is that Lexus finance is trying to make a business out of lending whilst trying to also win against the Germans by selling more cars. What you should do is to offer very low APR finance options on Lexus cars and make the money by selling more cars, increasing market share etc. Lexus knows hows good their own cars are but outside financiers don’t (or wont take into account) so the risk associated with the loan is understood. This is the opportunity that Lexus has but seem not to be interested in making use of.

    1. Hi JayZ
      Thanks for your post.
We appreciate your comments and have sent them to our team at Lexus Financial Services. We will let you know update as soon as possible.

    2. Hi JayZ
Thanks again for your post, and as mentioned previously our Lexus Financial team has looked further into this.
We do review the market prior to introducing finance as we do need to ensure that our offers remain competitive in terms of lenders as well as finance offers by other vehicle manufacturers. They looked further at loan amounts between £15,000 – £25,000 and after review the rates are more or less in line with the 6.9% APR finance that we are providing on NX. We would also take into account the segment in which the car sits (CSUV) to ensure this offer is also in line with other vehicles in this market.
Nevertheless, we do appreciate your comments and it is always useful for us to review our position. We hope you are enjoying your Prius and thank you for your interest in the new NX and for taking the time to bring this to our attention. If you do have any further questions please let us know.
